A Child’s Christmas in Wales

Virtual Concert
Opening Night: Saturday, December 12, 2020 at 7:30pm

The chestnuts are roasting, the bells are ringing in the bat-black belfries, and Auntie Hannah is into the parsnip wine. Join us as we rediscover Christmas through the eyes of a child in our online presentation of Dylan Thomas’s classic narrative A Child’s Christmas in Wales. Featuring actor Richard Partington, soprano Melanie Conly, tenor Joshua Clemenger, bass Parker Clements, fiddler Kelly Lefaive, and percussionist Derek Gray, this enchanting performance will include works by Morley, Rossini, and Arne, along with a selection of favourite seasonal carols. With storytelling as our warp and song as our weft, we’ll weave a rich tapestry that is sure to invoke the spirit of the season.
