What an extreme pleasure it was to sit front-row in a packed Grace Church on-the-Hill as I watched Maria Case lead the phenomenal Annex Singers in a stirring world premiere performance of my new choral work, ‘I Am Ice’. My Arctic expedition earlier this year coupled with Leonor Anthony’s poignant text inspired me to compose something that I am very proud of. Many thanks to the choristers for their passionate work on the piece they commissioned.
